Valuing Your Breitling Watch

Our highly trained specialists consider many factors when valuing your Breitling to ensure we provide you with the most accurate and up to date valuation. The most important factors are:

Model

Certain models such as the Chronomat tend to hold or appreciate in value more than other models which is why it’s such an important factor to consider when valuing your Breitling watch.

Condition

We understand that over time your Breitling might have some wear and tear damage, though any significant dents, scratches, repairs, restorations or other damage to the glass, bracelet or leather strap can impact the value.

Age

The age of your Breitling can have a positive or negative impact on value. Contemporary and modern Breitling watches tend to have a higher value when they are newer. Vintage Breitling watches are valued on their rarity and condition.

Provenance

If you have the original box, a certificate of sale or any papers that record information about your Breitling watch, this adds value. If you have lost or misplaced them, don’t worry, we will still be able to provide you with a loan estimate.

Market Value

We consider any recent information we can locate from auction and private sale records to ensure our valuations are accurate.

We also check your watch against loss and stolen registers as part of our due diligence.
