The National Pawnbroking Association is the trade organisation for Britain's pawnbroking industry and has a growing membership now in excess of 330 outlets.

It has been in existence for more than 100 years and is based in Bell Yard, adjacent to the Royal Courts of Justice in Fleet Street, London.

The NPA exists to safeguard the interests of both pawnbrokers and customers alike, laying down a code of conduct for all its members.

The National Association of Goldsmiths was founded in 1894 and is the national professional association of retail jewellers in the UK and Ireland. The Association promotes high professional and ethical standards among its membership to inspire consumer confidence and to enhance the reputation of the industry.

Membership comprises professional retail jewellers, both independents and multiples, who are committed to an honest and knowledgeable approach to their business. All members of the NAG must follow a code of practice, meet the objectives of the Association and agree to operate their business in a professional manner with the customer, company employees, the community and colleague members of the trade.

The NAG's Registered Valuers' Programme has set new standards in the valuation of jewellery items and has won the approval of the British insurance industry.
